“Everything in the world is about sex, except sex. Sex is about power.” wrote Oscar Wilde. "Of course we can turn that around," thought an eccentric professor at the famous ‘University of Giersbergen’, “if we now provide the world with enough 'sexual energy', we will give humanity its power again!” And so Van Zandbergen got to work.
His ‘XRGY Research Center’ at the university was passionately committed to collecting, researching, and massively disseminating ‘sexual energy’. In particular, his groundbreaking invention, the production of ‘erotic mass’ from slugs, finally brought his life goal within reach: “The survival of humanity and the improvement of the quality of life on earth.” In other words, the rescue of our world from Giersbergen!
The exhibition ‘LOVLAB’ shows you the rather extravagant instruments of the laboratory, some results of research and experiments, the very latest prototypes ‘energy throwers’ and of course also a look at the stocks of ‘sexual energy’ and ‘erotic mass’. In addition, the ‘LovLab’ would like to invite you to donate some energy or, if necessary, have it contributed. At your own risk, yes. Prof. dr. Maurice Van Zandbergen and assistant ir. Lyudmila Vladimirovna Ilyinichna are ready: “Don't hesitate, we would like to welcome you!”
Exhibition ‘LOVLAB’ in the ‘Metropolitan Museum Tilburg’, from September 16 to December 31, 2022, window exhibitions Stedekestraat 15, open daily, day and night, admission free.
